Max Dill ws repairing a power line. Suddenly, lightning struck Dill just as he was holding live, high-tension and a wound reel of one-inch cable. Dill screamed in pain. "AHH!"
Dill was quickly taken to the hospital by 2 passerbys.
"What happened?" asked a doctor.
"It was... an accident," replied one of the passerbys.
"Get him to the emergency ward," the doctor said.
After a few hours, the doctor stepped out of the emergency ward and was greeted by Dill's family whom the hospital had contacted earlier. The doctor brought Dill's into his room. Dill lay on his bed wearing a grey suit and mask.
"He's lucky to be alive," the doctor said. "The lightning strike has caused a mutagenic change in Max's nervous system, transforming him into a living electrical capacitor. The suit should be able to contain the electricity. As for now, its better for you to stay here until we can find a cure and return you to normal."
"What can you guys do?" Dill shouted. "You guys are not going to be able to help! I want out of here!"
Dill jumped out of his bed and ran out of hs room with his family and the doctor chasing after him.
Outside, Greyshot Silver Team was patrolling the area when they spotted Dill running out of the hospital.
The members of Greyshot Silver Team were the team's leader, Hanson. Assult specialist, Isaac. Heavy weapons specialist, Ethan. And marksman, Leon.
"Thug alert," Leon warned.
Greyshot Silver Team leapt down in front of Dill. Ethan punched Dill in the stomach and ripped off his mask to reveal a face envoloped with electricity. Dill zapped Ethan with a stream of electricity. Hanson was the next to attack.
"Come here, Electrica," Hanson said, whacking Dill in the chest.
Dill screamed in anger and electricity started shooting out from his body. Cars exploded, lights flickered and billboards short-circuited. While the Greyshots were wondering what was going on, Dill quickly escaped.
The next day, the story about Dill appeared on the newspaper. The Greyshots felt guilty and decided to apologise. They tracked Dill down to a lighthouse beside the sea. Dill sat alone on the floor when the Greyshots walked up towards him.
Dill stood up. "You!"
"Yeah...us," Hanson said. " Look, we made a mistake and now we really want to help."
Dill tossed Hanson over his shoulder.
"Max, please," Isaac pleaded.
"I'm not Max anymore!" Dill shouted."I'm... What did you call me?"
"Lightning bug?" Hanson replied.
"No, not that! Electrica. Yes! I'm Electrica!"
Electrica burned off his mask and gloves and blasted the Greyshots with bolts of electricity. Using his power of water, Hanson started shooting jets of water at Electrica. Electrica easily dodged them. Isaac ran over to Electrica at the speed of sound (thanks to his power of superspeed) and jabbed him in the chest. Electrica fell backwards only for Leon and Ethan to kick him out the window. Electrica splashed into the cold waters below.
Zap! Electrica was electricuted.
Soon, a "cleanup crew" arrived to pick up Electrica and repair any damages.
